An Ethereum developer known as "Fede’s Intern" has been detained in Izmir, Turkey, over allegations of aiding others in the misuse of Ethereum. In a statement on X, the developer said authorities accused him of facilitating such activities — claims he firmly denied, stressing that he and his team are purely infrastructure builders. He expressed full readiness to cooperate with the investigation.
While in custody, the developer periodically shared updates, noting he had been moved to a private room and provided with food. He also revealed that arrangements were underway for him to depart Turkey for Europe aboard a private plane within hours. Once in Europe, he intends to work closely with his legal team to fight the charges.
