According to Odaily, Insight Investment analyst Francesca Fornasari has indicated in a report that the U.S. dollar may experience further weakening in the latter half of 2025 due to a slowdown in U.S. economic growth. She noted that the economic downturn could pave the way for additional interest rate cuts by the Federal Reserve. The declining status of the dollar as a global reserve currency is also expected to exert pressure on its value. However, given the uncertainty surrounding U.S. policy prospects and the already aggressive short positions against the dollar, the currency's decline is anticipated to be gradual and moderate.
