According to Odaily, Nasdaq-listed GameSquare has announced the acquisition of 1,818.84 ETH, valued at $5 million, to enhance its Ethereum treasury. The company had previously revealed plans to gradually establish an Ethereum treasury worth up to $100 million. As part of its initial funding strategy, GameSquare will issue 8,421,054 shares of common stock or equivalent securities at a price of $0.95 per share. This move is expected to raise approximately $8 million before deducting related expenses.
