🔹 Iran’s largest crypto exchange is cautiously restoring its services after a devastating cyberattack blamed on pro-Israeli hackers. Operations are resuming gradually, with security as the top priority.

🔹 Wallet Access Returns – But Only for Verified Users

Nobitex announced on Saturday that it has begun phased reactivation of user wallet access, starting with identity-verified users and spot wallets. Balance visibility and other functions will be re-enabled step by step.

The platform emphasized that users must complete identity verification to regain access to deposits, withdrawals, and trading features. While the current recovery schedule targets midweek completion, this timeline may change based on ongoing security checks.

🔹 Old Deposit Addresses Are Now Invalid – Avoid Transfers Without New Info

Due to a full wallet system migration, Nobitex warned users not to use old deposit addresses. Any funds sent to outdated addresses may be permanently lost. This warning is especially crucial for users running automated setups, such as mining rigs or preset withdrawal scripts.

“Previous addresses are no longer valid. Deposits sent to them could result in irreversible loss of funds,” the exchange said.

🔹 Historic Attack Cripples Platform – Estimated Losses Hit $90 Million

The breach is being described as one of the most severe crypto-related security incidents in Iran’s history. Industry sources estimate the damages at $90 million, including frozen assets, halted operations, and technical failures during the migration and security overhaul.

In response, Nobitex has implemented a comprehensive wallet infrastructure upgrade, paired with identity revalidation across its platform – steps that are also slowing down support response times.

🔹 Nobitex Stays Transparent and Thanks Users for Patience

Despite the challenges, the exchange continues to update users via social media and in-app announcements. In a June 29 post, Nobitex thanked users for their patience and reaffirmed its commitment to restoring operations with strong security and data integrity.

Customer support remains available via live chat and phone, though Nobitex acknowledged potential delays in resolving cases due to the complexity of the ongoing situation.

💬 Summary: Nobitex Rises From the Ashes, Focuses on Trust and Security

Following a major cyberattack, Iran’s top exchange is cautiously coming back online. With strict verification, a rebuilt wallet system, and a firm focus on safety, Nobitex hopes to fully restore services by midweek. But the path remains fragile.
