Alchemy, the Web3 developer platform helping developers to build consumer-facing apps that accelerate the adoption of Web3 has announced the acquisition of the non-fungible launchpad HeyMint.
The acquisition is part of the company’s strategy to strengthen the development of Alchemy Smart Wallets, its frictionless user onboarding solution for web3 apps.
HeyMint offers a suite of no-code tools that enable mainstream brands to launch their Web3 initiatives. The platform has supported some of the leading brands including MasterCard, Ubisoft, and Universal Music Group, as well as, the NFT gaming platform The Sandbox.
According to a press release seen by NFTgators, HeyMint’s NFT launchpad has been leveraged by over 1 million users and helped 40,000+ creators generate $38 million in NFT sales.
Commenting on the acquisition, Joe Lau, co-founder and President of Alchemy said in a statement: “HeyMint’s focus on creating the most accessible and user-friendly experience aligns perfectly with Alchemy’s vision of onboarding the next generation of users and technology companies to web3, and we are excited to welcome their team into ours.”
This announcement comes hot the heels of Alchemy’s acquisition of data services platform, DexterLab to grow its enterprise services on Solana.
As part of this latest acquisition, HeyMint’s co-founder and CTO, Flor Ronsmans De Vry — a veteran web3 developer who previously founded blockchain automation company Fuse Robotics and his team, alongside the team behind HeyMint Quest will join Alchemy.
