Gaming NFT assets (and tokens) have been, by far, the worst performers in my portfolio. Seedworld and Pixelmon aren’t even doing that badly compared to others I’ve already sold, or that went straight to zero. So this isn’t FUD, just an honest look at where the market’s at. Also want to give a shoutout to L3E7, one of the few teams that’s never extracted from the space. They launched with a free mint (Worlds) first, followed by a paid mint (Guardians), backed by a 0.1 ETH bid wall, effectively offering a built-in refund option. That’s rare, and it deserves credit. But the market has been brutal toward gaming lately. We’re deep in a peak bear for this sector, and what else could it be? To me, the biggest issue with many web3 gaming projects is that they don’t actually feel like web3. Most of them operate like web2 games, offering very little reason for the community to build emotional bonds with the brand, especially when tokens are performing poorly and the games themselves aren’t live yet. Naturally, people just want to exit. In my case, I sold almost everything, probably at a loss (don’t want to remember). But I’m still pretty heavy on Pixelmon and Seedworld because I like their IP and previews. That said… it’s been rough watching my bags halving every 3 months. 😅 Wishing them good luck though, at least we know they’re genuinely trying.

I was wrong. $ANIME is showing an impressive bounce from the bottom, while Azuki NFTs are still struggling. We used to see a strong correlation between NFTs and their tokens, but that’s clearly not the case here.

The goal is simple: to support and spread a healthier culture, one led by those who actually hold and care. It’s time collectors became the main characters again, not just the exit liquidity in someone else’s story. @NFTrenaissance_ 🎭
