According to Foresight News, Scroll DAO has announced a temporary halt in its governance activities following the resignation of its leadership team. Despite the leadership changes, current governance proposals remain active and are proceeding as planned.
During a meeting today, Scroll co-founder Haichen Shen revealed that the team is in the process of redesigning the governance structure. Raza, the head of growth at Scroll, emphasized that the term 'pause' is more appropriate than 'stop' or 'dissolve' to describe the current situation.
Discussions are ongoing regarding the handling of proposals from the current cycle, such as treasury management proposals, and no decisions have been made about their implementation. Eugene, a leader within the DAO, resigned earlier this week.
The reasons for the pause and the process moving forward remain unclear, with the team requesting time to organize and plan the next steps.
