The subcommittee comprises 36 experts from leading institutions such as Citadel, BlackRock, BNY Mellon, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, and Morgan Stanley. It aims to provide recommendations to the CFTC on key issues related to digital assets, thereby advancing policy and regulatory development. Avery Ching brings over a decade of experience in building large-scale infrastructure. Before founding Aptos, he served as the head of technology for Meta's crypto platform, where he led blockchain development, wallet infrastructure, strategy, and the Diem blockchain project, showcasing his extensive industry background and expertise.
