Joe Rogan warns that when money becomes the only goal, people lose their humanity.
On a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, he shared his views with guest Ian Edwards.
He described the COVID-19 pandemic as “the biggest transfer of wealth ever,”
where large corporations benefited while small businesses were crushed.
Rogan criticized companies like Target and Walmart for thriving during lockdowns,
while independent stores were forced to shut down.
He said this led to wealth being "legally siphoned" away from everyday people.
He claimed some ultra-rich individuals have become “number people”
— obsessed with profits and detached from humanity.
"They don't give a F about you. They're just trying to make more numbers," Rogan said.
He contrasted this with creators like Elon Musk,
who he believes earned their wealth through innovation rather than exploitation.
Rogan emphasized that many of the world’s richest are hidden elites,
like political dynasties and royal families.
His core message to CEOs: chasing money without purpose leads to emptiness.
"You're going to die. If all you do is squeeze every dollar out of people, you're not living a harmonious life."
