Những gì giới crypto muốn?
Liên minh crypto đề xuất #SEC nên:
Ban hành hướng dẫn rõ ràng dựa trên nguyên tắc (principles-based) – thay vì điều chỉnh theo từng trường hợp, như đã từng làm với stablecoin hay memecoin.
Tạo khuôn khổ chuẩn cho các dịch vụ staking, bao gồm:
Công bố rõ cách phần thưởng được chia,
Người dùng luôn nắm quyền kiểm soát tài sản đã stake,
Thông tin minh bạch và dễ hiểu cho người dùng.

Bối cảnh thay đổi – Ánh sáng cuối đường hầm?
Dưới thời cựu Chủ tịch Gary Gensler, SEC từng bị chỉ trích là “điều chỉnh bằng cách trừng phạt”, gây tê liệt các hoạt động hợp pháp của nhiều công ty crypto.
Tuy nhiên, sự thay đổi lãnh đạo sang Paul Atkins, cùng với chính quyền mới tại Nhà Trắng ủng hộ đổi mới công nghệ, đang tạo ra sự dịch chuyển trong quan điểm.
SEC hiện đã từ chối theo đuổi nhiều vụ kiện trước đó và khởi động các buổi đối thoại mở với các bên trong ngành, cho thấy họ sẵn sàng lắng nghe và điều chỉnh luật chơi.

POW的缺陷是所有人消耗大量能源，因此被很多人所诟病，而想要实现普信（自造词，普遍信任），也有一些其他的算法可以实现。其中一种就是POS。
POS（Proof of Stake），也叫作权益证明。什么是权益？就是用户在区块链系统中拥有的资产。那什么是权益证明？举个《封神》里的例子就很好理解了。节点把自己的权益质押到链上当成“质子”，成为“验证者”，当要出块的时候，系统会随机选一个验证者打包交易，如果这个验证者是个“叛徒”，并且有恶意行为，那么系统就会没收他的“质子”作为惩罚。
虽然和POW的机制不同，但是原理都是一样的，它们都假定区块链系统中有叛徒，并且叛徒作恶会付出巨大的成本。POW选择让参与者做题，做题需要大量计算资源，如果要控制网络需要极高的成本；而POS则是选择让所有参与者送上人质，如果叛徒作恶，那么就杀他的人质。
在很多PoS系统中，一个参与者成为验证者的机会与其所持有的“权益”成正比。这意味着抵押更多的资产的验证者有更高的机会被选为下一个区块的创建者。同时，验证者会因为他们的验证工作而获得奖励，可能是新发行的货币或网络交易费用。
最后，在一些POS机制里，权益不只是代币，还有持币的时间、声誉、积分等等都可以算作权益，因此广义上讲，POS不一定要质押代币。
