في ظل تحذيرات دولية متصاعدة وتقارير من الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية، تثار مجدداً تساؤلات حول حقيقة نوايا إيران النووية، فبينما تقول طهران إن برنامجها سلمي، تشير بيانات حديثة إلى أن مخزونها من اليورانيوم المخصب يكفي لصناعة تسع قنابل نووية إذا تم تخصيبه بنسبة أعلى، ما يقرّبها أكثر من أي وقت مضى من «العتبة النووية».

قال رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو إن إيران تمتلك ما يكفي من اليورانيوم عالي التخصيب لصنع تسع قنابل نووية، في حين تصر طهران مراراً على أنها لا تطوّر سلاحاً نووياً.

لكن، ما مدى دقة هذا الادعاء؟

رغم عدم وجود وضوح كامل حول مدى اقتراب إيران فعلياً من تصنيع قنبلة نووية، فإن المؤكد أنها حققت تقدماً كبيراً في إنتاج العنصر الأساسي في أي سلاح نووي: اليورانيوم عالي التخصيب.

ففي تقرير وُزِّع على الدول الأعضاء في 31 مايو، أفادت الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية (IAEA) بأن إيران تمتلك كمية من اليورانيوم المخصب بنسبة نقاء تصل إلى 60%، وهي نسبة لا تُعد بعد «درجة سلاح»، لكنها تكفي لصناعة تسع قنابل نووية إذا تم تخصيبها أكثر لتصل إلى نسبة 90%.

وقال نتنياهو يوم الجمعة، خلال إعلانه عن عملية «الأسد الصاعد»: «إيران يمكن أن تنتج سلاحاً نووياً في وقت قصير جداً، ربما في غضون عام، وربما في غضون بضعة أشهر، وهذا يشكل تهديداً مباشراً وحقيقياً لبقاء إسرائيل».

وقد زادت إيران من وتيرة برنامج تخصيب اليورانيوم بشكل ملحوظ منذ انسحاب الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب من الاتفاق النووي في عام 2018، فبعد أن كانت تمتلك نحو 150 كغم من اليورانيوم المخصب بنسبة 3.6% (وهي كمية مخصصة للأغراض السلمية ومحطات الطاقة النووية)، أصبحت تملك الآن كمية تزيد 50 مرة على ما كانت عليه قبل 6 سنوات.

وفي عام 2023، أعلنت الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية أنها عثرت على جزيئات من اليورانيوم المخصب بنسبة 83.7% في منشأة نووية إيرانية –وهي نسبة تقترب من مستوى الاستخدام العسكري، كما بلغ مخزون إيران من اليورانيوم المخصب بنسبة تصل إلى 60% نحو 128.3 كغم، وهو أعلى مستوى تم توثيقه حتى الآن.

وكانت الوكالة قد اتهمت طهران مراراً بخرق التزاماتها في معاهدة عدم الانتشار النووي، لكن -وللمرة الأولى منذ نحو 20 عاماً- اعتمد مجلس حكام الوكالة، يوم الخميس، قراراً رسمياً يعتبر إيران في حالة انتهاك لتلك الالتزامات، وردت إيران بتعهدها بتصعيد أنشطتها النووية.
