Listen, think about it - OpenAI has introduced a new version of Codex, and it doesn't look at all like the AI tools we are used to. This is no longer just an auto-completion of the code or the answer to the question "why doesn't it compile". This is a whole system of cloud-based AI agents that can actually do a bunch of things in parallel: fix bugs, refactor, write modules — and all this in the background, without your participation. Yes, while you're drinking coffee or, say, out for lunch.
Codex does not run on your computer, but on the OpenAI infrastructure. That is, it doesn't load your laptop, it doesn't slow down the IDE — it works as a remote employee with a separate machine. Only this "employee" can run multiple tasks at once, check himself, correct mistakes and suggest improvements. Just like an experienced engineer, whom you trust and do not stand over your soul.
Interestingly, they have already made a free local version (Codex CLI), but now we are talking about cloud-based Codex— it is more powerful, more autonomous and more scalable. And it works on their new Codex One model, which OpenAI calls the "best for today" for programming.
At the demo presentation, Codex fixed the code live in 30 seconds, which would have taken a developer half an hour. One of the team members said, "We trust Codex as much as we trust our colleagues." And this, you must admit, is not just a compliment — it's a whole cultural shift.
Interestingly, OpenAI is currently restricting access: only for ChatGPT Pro, Enterprise, and Teams, but they plan to open it later for Plus and Edu users as well. In the beginning, they promise "generous limits" and no surcharges, but it is clear that this is temporary — as soon as the data is collected, they will most likely introduce a fee.
Further — more: They want to integrate Codex into bug tracking systems, into the command line, and generally automate the development lifecycle. And at the same time, they continue to develop the local Codex CLI so that in the future both the local and the cloud will work together as a single team.
Sam Altman even joked on X (former Twitter) that two extremes were writing to him in his personal account.: "You created an AI programmer, why isn't it free?" and "Why do you charge only $20 per month for such a programmer?". And this really reflects the essence of the moment — people have mixed feelings: on the one hand, admiration, on the other, anxiety.
Now I'm sitting here thinking: if AI can already do almost all the engineering routine on its own, how soon will it start replacing entire teams instead of individual specialists? Listen, imagine that the crypto markets are open around the clock, but you are not. This means that while you are sleeping or drinking coffee, there are already a dozen transactions going on somewhere that could bring you profit. That's why artificial intelligence-based agents are increasingly being used in DeFi (decentralized finance). They trade, manage liquidity, and optimize profitability without human involvement. Sounds like a dream come true, doesn't it?
But the trouble is, the wallets through which all these operations take place are not ready for such automation. Most of them still require manual confirmation and are not able to safely interact with AI. This creates a threat: AI can gain too much freedom and, say, due to a bug or bot attack, deprive you of all funds. There have already been such cases — for example, a hack on 563 ETH through a vulnerability in the Banana Gun trading bot. And more recently, there was another incident where more than $100,000 was lost due to access to the control panel.
The bottom line is that the wallet architecture has not changed over the years. All the same mechanism: signed the transaction, sent it, and repeated it. But DeFi has become smarter and faster. As a result, you either keep everything under manual control and can't keep up with the market, or you give control to the AI and pray that it doesn't cause trouble.
The solution? Programmable permissions. This is a thing that allows you to set clear rules for an agent: what is allowed, what is not allowed, at what time and with what assets. Imagine if you gave the AI a key, but only to one room, and only for two hours. Plus, you can always revoke it.
Using such an infrastructure, DeFi can be made not only safer, but also more accessible. Ordinary users will be able to use complex strategies without deep technical knowledge, and businesses will be able to implement AI without fear of losing millions.
All this brings us to the main point: DeFi is already on the threshold of a new era where AI will play a central role. But if we want it to work for us and not against us, we need to rethink wallets as operating systems, not just as storage.

AI16Z's price recently dropped from $2.36 to a key support level of $1.39, which had previously acted as resistance. Currently, the token has managed to recover slightly and is trading at $1.48.

The $1.39 level represents a crucial area for buyers, as maintaining this support could allow the price to stabilize and potentially recover toward the $2.36 resistance zone. A breakdown below $1.39, could see the price retreat further to the lower support level of $1.14.
From a technical perspective, the MACD indicator shows bearish momentum, with the lines trending downward. At the same time, the RSI has fallen into oversold territory, suggesting the possibility of a price reversal if buying interest emerges.
GRIFFAIN (GRIFFAIN)
GRIFFAIN has experienced a similar correction, falling from its all-time high of $0.5290 to its current position near $0.3765. The token is currently testing a support range between $0.36 and $0.40, which has previously acted as a significant resistance zone.

Holding within this range is crucial for maintaining bullish sentiment, as it may create an opportunity for a recovery toward the next resistance level of $0.5290. If GRIFFAIN fails to maintain support, further downside could reflect the broader market weakness.
On the technical front, the MACD indicator is displaying signs of declining bearish momentum, while the RSI has dropped to 33.64, nearing oversold conditions. Historically, such levels have often provided an opportunity for buyers to re-enter the market, potentially driving a rebound.
Zerebro (ZEREBRO)
ZEREBRO has seen a significant decline, with its price dropping from $0.58 to $0.33, where it is now testing a crucial ascending trendline. This trendline has acted as strong support in the past, making its current level pivotal for the token's future direction.

If ZEREBRO manages to hold this trendline, a rebound toward the $0.58 resistance level may follow. However, failure to hold the current level could signal further downside.
The technical indicators reflect a mixed outlook. The MACD remains in bearish territory, highlighting continued selling pressure. However, the RSI has plunged to 20.03, signaling extreme oversold conditions. Such levels often precede a potential price recovery, particularly if market sentiment improves.
What’s Ahead?
The resilience of AI16Z, GRIFFAIN, and ZEREBRO at these key support levels suggests that a recovery may be on the horizon. The technical indicators, including oversold RSI levels and easing bearish momentum on the MACD, further bolster the case for a rebound.
However, the tokens' performance will also depend on Bitcoin's ability to hold its critical $91K-$94K support range. If BTC stabilizes or rebounds, it could provide a broader market lift, enhancing the recovery prospects for these AI-focused altcoins.
