How to deposit JPY to Binance Japan

1. Log in to your Binance account and go to [Wallet] - [Fiat and Spot] - [Deposit].

Choose [Deposit JPY]

2. Select the Deposit Channel (GMO) or (SBI)

Important note: If you receive the message “Channel Unavailable”, please kindly consider using deposit destination to Binance Japan SBI bank account instead.

3. User enters the deposit amount

However, the final amount received may not be the amount displayed in this screen as the bank that processes the transaction may charge a fee. (see below screenshot)

4. An important note will display on the screen after the amount is entered. Please ensure the name appears (displayed on the next page) matches with the registered kana name on your bank account. Missing/incorrect name will not be credited.

5. Deposit instruction page appears. Users are required to enter the receiver’s bank account details and input the sender’s name correctly. Remitter’s name, or sender’s name, or transfer requestor’s name is 振込依頼人名 in Japanese. This is one field which users usually enter during bank transfer in Japan.

6. Log in your own local bank account to transfer funds according to the deposit instruction and please enter the Sender’s Name/Remitter’s name correctly as instructed in step 5.

Importance Notes: Deposit using Payment Service Providers

- Deposits using payment service providers might not be accepted as we cannot identify the sender. In such cases, please contact Binance Customer Support for further assistance.

- The eligible transaction for refund must be more than 650 JPY. If the deposit amount is 650 JPY or less, the refund cannot be processed.

- Refund amount = [the deposit amount - 650 JPY] (transferring fee: 150 JPY; refund processing fee: 500 JPY).

- Please make deposits from your own Japanese domestic bank account.

1. What is my JPY deposit limit?

Your JPY deposit limit is shown on the screen on the deposit amount confirmation page in step 3.

2. How can I increase my fiat limit?

Currently increasing fiat limit is not supported in Binance Japan. Please kindly use within your current fiat limit. If there is any change in the future, we will inform you via our announcement page.

3. Why is my final credited amount less than the entered amount on the bank transfer?

Binance is not charging any fee for deposit. However, your bank may charge a fee, hence causing the difference of the amount.

4. If I forgot to enter my remitter’s/sender’s name, what would happen?

Users who do not key in remitter’s/sender’s name or key in wrong remitter’s/sender’s name cannot get their fund credited automatically. Please contact our Binance Customer Support for further check and support.

5. How long does it take for the deposit to be credited?

Upon receiving the fund in Binance bank account, we will credit to your account within 1 hour on weekdays. However, banks may take a bit of time to transfer from your account to Binance bank account, you may need to wait for a while which may take up to 1 business day.

6. I want to ask for refund of my uncredited deposit

In case your deposit has not been credited due to the remitter’s/sender’’s name mismatch and you wish to have it refunded, you can recall your transfer with the bank where you have made the transfer, to get your fund back. The processing time and fee might differ depending on the bank, please kindly check directly with your bank for more details.
