According to PANews, CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost has reported a significant increase in demand for Bitcoin accumulation addresses. These specific types of addresses, known as 'accumulation addresses,' have reached a new peak in Bitcoin holdings. As of September 5, these addresses have accumulated over 266,000 BTC, marking a historic high in their holdings.

Accumulation addresses are defined as wallets that have conducted at least two transactions involving a minimum amount of Bitcoin and have never executed any sell transactions. This behavior is often associated with long-term holders. Amid the growth of corporate treasuries, the expanding application of Bitcoin, and its increasing recognition as a store of value, there appears to be a substantial amount of Bitcoin being accumulated with a clear intention for long-term holding.
