According to a report by Shenchao TechFlow, based on Bitwise's report on corporate Bitcoin holdings for the second quarter of 2025, publicly traded companies hold a total of 847,000 Bitcoins, a quarter-over-quarter increase of 23.13%, accounting for 4.03% of the total Bitcoin supply. The total value of these Bitcoins is $91 billion, a quarter-over-quarter increase of 60.93%, with an average purchase price of $107,754 per Bitcoin. The number of publicly traded companies holding Bitcoin has reached 125, a quarter-over-quarter increase of 58.23%, with 46 new companies purchasing Bitcoin this quarter.
Strategy holds the largest amount of Bitcoin with 597,325 coins, adding over 69,000 Bitcoins in the second quarter and achieving an unrealized gain of $14 billion. This quarter, companies purchased a total of 159,107 Bitcoins, with the new company Twenty One making its debut, raising $685 million and acquiring over $450 million worth of Bitcoin.
