According to Deep Tide TechFlow, on May 28, the leadership of the U.S. House of Representatives plans to introduce an updated version of the Digital Asset Market Structure Act during a formal meeting. This bill is seen as the foundational blueprint for regulating the $34 trillion cryptocurrency industry in the U.S. and will be formally submitted during a procedural meeting while lawmakers are in recess. Previously, a discussion draft of the bill was jointly released by Republican leaders, including French Hill, Chairman of the Financial Services Committee. The House Financial Services Committee will hold a hearing on the updated bill on June 4 and may conduct a markup review on June 10.
