According to BlockBeats reports, on May 24th, Sui officials stated on social media that Cetus initiated a community voting proposal to upgrade the protocol to return frozen funds. The Sui team decided to support this proposal but added two conditions.
Sui officials will remain neutral regarding the voting results and will relinquish their voting rights, designing and implementing a decision-making process that reflects the collective will of the community. Cetus must publicly commit to using all financial resources to recover assets and ensure that all users receive full compensation.
