According to a report by Deep Tide TechFlow, the EU's chief trade negotiator stated that if the White House's new investigations into goods such as pharmaceuticals and semiconductors lead to more tariffs, the U.S. could impose over $100 billion in tariffs on the EU. EU Commission Vice President Šefčovič stated that the current situation is unacceptable and that the EU cannot sit idly by. U.S. officials are exploring the possibility of imposing tariffs on industries such as copper, timber, and pharmaceuticals under the guise of national security. If all tariffs are implemented, approximately €549 billion ($621.28 billion) in EU exports to the U.S. would be affected. The U.S. could potentially gain up to €100 billion.
