According to PANews, the British Embassy in Washington announced on Saturday that the United Kingdom and the United States are set to sign a significant technology agreement in the coming days as part of U.S. President Donald Trump's visit to the U.K. The agreement aims to enhance cooperation in the multi-trillion-dollar technology sectors of both nations, creating more opportunities for businesses and consumers across the Atlantic. The partnership will focus on key technologies, including artificial intelligence, semiconductors, telecommunications, and quantum computing.

President Trump is scheduled to depart for the United Kingdom on Tuesday for a three-day state visit, his second such visit. He will be accompanied by a delegation of American executives, including Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and OpenAI's Sam Altman.
