Blockstream Acquires Elysium Lab to Expand European Operations

According to PANews, Bitcoin financial infrastructure company Blockstream has announced the acquisition of Swiss digital asset firm Elysium Lab. While the financial details of the acquisition remain undisclosed, the transaction will grant Blockstream access to Elysium Lab's patents and intellectual property assets. Following the acquisition, Blockstream plans to establish its European market headquarters in the region and launch the BTC ecosystem incubator entity, Blockstream CH SAGL. This incubator aims to advance the development of native Bitcoin products, foster ecosystem participation, and enhance regional research and development.
