According to Jin Ten data reports, influenced by the weakening of the US dollar, the euro to US dollar exchange rate has risen to nearly a four-year high. The 90-day suspension period for US tariffs will end on July 9, and the market's uncertainty regarding subsequent tariff policies has put pressure on the dollar.

Monex Europe analysts point out that if European Central Bank President Lagarde adopts a cautious stance on interest rate cuts, it may provide additional support for the euro. However, since Federal Reserve Chairman Powell may also maintain a cautious attitude, Lagarde's comments may have limited impact on boosting the euro. The two central bank leaders will speak together at the European Central Bank forum in Sintra, Portugal, at 21:30 Tokyo time.
