According to a report by Deep Tide TechFlow, on June 24, several large banks in the United States, including JPMorgan Chase, Citigroup, and Wells Fargo, held an emergency meeting with officials from Texas and Oklahoma. The meeting aimed to avoid being excluded from state government contracts due to the so-called 'woke policies.' These states have banned certain financial institutions from participating in state contracts on the grounds that they discriminate against the gun manufacturing and fossil fuel extraction industries. JPMorgan Chase has updated its policy to explicitly state that it will not discriminate based on political positions.
