According to Deep Tide TechFlow, on May 20, South Korea and the United States will hold a second round of technical consultations in Washington regarding the U.S. reciprocal tariff measures. The meeting will last three days and will begin on Tuesday (U.S. time).

Both sides are working to reach a 'comprehensive' trade agreement, with the goal of achieving it by early July. The talks cover six key issues: trade imbalance, non-tariff barriers, economic security, digital trade, rules of origin for products, and business factors.

This is another negotiation following the first practical consultation held on May 1.
