According to BlockBeats, a report from blockchain compliance company AMLBot shows that Tether's wallet blacklist mechanism has significant delays, resulting in over $78 million in illegal funds being successfully transferred before the freeze took effect.
The report indicates that Tether's multi-signature contract settings on the Ethereum and Tron blockchains average a delay of 44 minutes from blacklist submission to enforcement. During this delay on the Ethereum chain, approximately 28.5 million USDT were transferred, with each transfer averaging over $365,000.
On the Tron chain, there are $49.6 million circumventing the freeze, with approximately 4.88% of the flagged wallets exploiting this loophole to make 2-3 transfers, averaging $292,000 per wallet.
