According to Odaily, during the Consensus 2025 conference held in Toronto, Cantor Fitzgerald Chairman Brandon Lutnick addressed rumors regarding Tether's reserves. Lutnick stated, "I personally checked many of their reserves, and we have proven many rumors to be false." He noted that during the initial collaboration with Tether, there were numerous rumors suggesting that Tether did not have adequate reserves. Lutnick emphasized that despite Bloomberg's reports claiming he interned for Tether in Lugano, Switzerland, he clarified, "That is not true."
