Binance Spot API Service Upgrade (2024-06-18)

2024-06-13 09:30

Fellow Binancians,

In order to improve the trading experience of Spot API users, Binance Spot API will update and remove the Buyer order ID (“b”) and Seller order ID (“a”) from the Trade Streams (i.e. <symbol>@trade) starting from 2024-06-18 05:00 UTC.

  • WebSocket Streams documentation has been updated with regards to this change.

  • Users can listen to the User Data Streams to monitor if their order was part of a trade.

Notes:

  • This upgrade may take a few hours to be rolled out to all servers.

  • Spot trading will not be impacted during the upgrade, but please note that this change is backward incompatible.

  • API users existing programs that rely on market data may experience failures following the upgrade.

  • More information is available at Binance Spot API Doc.

  • There may be discrepancies in the translated version of this original article in English. Please reference this original version for the latest or most accurate information where any discrepancies may arise.

Thank you for your support!
