Zhao Changpeng (CZ) posted that his debate with economist and long-time crypto critic Peter Schiff is about to begin and that he is currently preparing backstage.
Earlier, Schiff challenged CZ to a public debate on “the pros and cons of Bitcoin versus tokenized gold” on X. CZ accepted the invitation, noting that although Schiff opposes Bitcoin, he has “always acted professionally and without personal bias,” and said he appreciates that.
The discussion is expected to highlight two competing views on digital value storage: native cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin versus tokenized representations of traditional assets such as gold.
