What Makes a Crypto Project Truly Decentralized?
Most projects call themselves decentralized — but very few actually are.
True decentralization requires:
• Distributed nodes
• Open-source code
• No single admin control
• Community governance
• Fair token distribution
A project isn’t decentralized just because it has a token or a DAO.
Real decentralization means the network survives even if the core team disappears.
If a project can be shut down by one group, it is not decentralized — no matter what the marketing says.
