MASTER THE 1-MINUTE SCALP: A Simple MACD + RSI Strategy for Beginners
Scalping doesn't have to be complicated. If you are new to trading and want quick results, you need a setup that removes the guesswork.
Here is a proven, rule-based strategy using two of the most powerful indicators: MACD and RSI. This works best on high-volume coins like BTC or ETH.
โ๏ธ THE SETUP
>Timeframe: 1-Minute (1m) Chart.
>Indicators:
1. MACD: Default Settings.
2. RSI: Set to 70 (Overbought) & 30 (Oversold).
3. Bollinger Bands: Optional (for extra confirmation).
๐ข ENTRY RULES (LONG / BUY)
Don't just guess. Wait for these two things to happen at the same time:
MACD: The Blue Line crosses ABOVE the Orange Line, and the histogram turns green.
RSI: The RSI line must be moving UP from the 30 level (Oversold zone).
Action: Enter the trade immediately.
๐ด EXIT RULES (SELL / SHORT)
Use this for Futures or to book profits on Spot:
1. MACD: The Blue Line crosses BELOW the Orange Line.
2. RSI: The RSI line is moving DOWN from the 70 level (Overbought zone).
๐ฐ TARGETS & RISK MANAGEMENT Since this is 1-minute scalping, speed is key.
Take Profit (TP): 0.5% to 1% per trade. Don't get greedy.
Stop Loss (SL): Keep it tight at 0.3% - 0.5%.
Golden Rule: Never trade without a Stop Loss.
โฐ BEST TIMES TO TRADE (UTC Time)
Volatility is your friend. Trade during these high-volume windows for the best moves:
London Session: 08:00 UTC to 16:00 UTC (Great liquidity).
New York Session: 13:00 UTC to 21:00 UTC (High volatility).
The Overlap (Golden Window): 13:00 UTC to 16:00 UTC.
(This is when both London and NY markets are open. Expect peak volume and fast moves.)
Final Tip: Before using real money, practice this with small amounts or paper trading. Discipline beats luck every time.
