【The scams on Telegram are just too numerous】Today I almost got scammed because a TG friend in the circle sent me a screenshot saying my TG account was tagged as "fraud."
Although I was puzzled, I never initiated private chats with strangers on TG, so how could it be tagged like this? But the screenshot looked real, so I had to believe it.
Then I privately messaged two friends, and the other two friends said they didn't see this tag.
I googled it, and wow, what a shock, this is yet another scam.
This fraud activity has three stages:
① Trusted friend's account is hacked
② Your account screenshot shows "fraud"
③ The hacked friend provides a malicious bot
His next step is to send a malicious BOT for me to verify, and then my account will be hacked 😂
