More is in preparation

The fund #XRP of Can,ary Ca,pital has received official approval for listing on the Nasdaq, becoming the first exchange-traded fund for #Ripple ever.

The fund was automatically approved after the issuer submitted Form 8-A to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The fund will trade under the symbol $XRPC.

📈 The market responded positively, boosting the price of XRP - and it was also helped by the prospect of the U.S. government shutdown ending.

Are there more traded XRP funds?

The DT,CC pages listing the traded XRP funds are not approvals. This entry means that the clearing and settlement process is ready in case a fund launches, not that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has approved anything.

Here is what we know:

— Grayscale submitted an S-1 for the Grayscale XRP Trust in August, with amendments in October and November indicating NYSE Arca and AP listing mechanisms.

— Franklin's S-1 filing includes a legal document dated November 4 related to its registration number.

— Coin,Shares submitted an S-1 filing that includes details about the spin-off and air drop operations.

— Teuc, rium indicated an XRP product traded twice daily in its filings submitted in April, and ProShares also updated its XRP Ultra and Short materials in April, which are based on leverage and are likely to fall outside the new general standards.

Remember - the real indicators are an effective S-1 filing and a listing memorandum that names the ticker and the date. Until these two documents appear on the site, you will not have an XRP fund traded on the stock exchange.
