The famous trader who had a streak of 14 consecutive winning trades, closed his short position on Zcash (ZEC) at a loss again, bringing his total loss to over 30.6 million dollars.

According to data shared by the on-chain analysis platform Lookonchain, the trader with address 0xc2a3 recently closed his reopened short position of 2,062 ZEC (approximately 1.47 million dollars) at a loss. After this loss, the trader opened another short position in the same cryptocurrency, but was unsuccessful in this attempt as well.

The recent transaction history reveals that the investor has faced consecutive unsuccessful positions in recent days. The trader, who has experienced successive losses in Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), HYPE, and ZEC transactions, recorded approximately $395,000 in losses from only the last two positions in ZEC trades. When the losses exceeding $15 million from Ethereum transactions are added to this picture, the total loss exceeded $30 million.

Trader Insists on ZEC Short

Despite the investor's consecutive losses, the attempt to short Zcash again has drawn attention in the community. Analysts note that ZEC has gained strength above the $700 level recently, which has pressured short positions. Nevertheless, the trader's insistence on the same strategy is interpreted in the market as an "effort to recover losses."
