Hello everyone, I am Sour Tamarind.

If Ethereum defines 'trusted decentralization', then Linea attempts to address another more pragmatic issue: the hierarchy and sustainability of trust.

In many blockchain systems, trust is simplified to the word 'consensus'.

Consensus is indeed important, but it is not infinite. As the network expands, governance becomes more complex, and the number of participants increases, trust must be stratified and structured within the system. Linea starts from this point, building a new trust model through the synergy of technology and governance.

The trust system of Linea consists of three parts:

technical trust, economic trust, and social trust.

Technical trust comes from the mathematical certainty of zkEVM; economic trust comes from staking and incentive models; social trust accumulates through reputation systems and governance structures. The three balance each other while supporting one another.

While most chains remain at the level of 'trust in code', Linea has already entered the stage of 'trust systems'.

It understands that relying solely on consensus algorithms cannot maintain the health of a complex ecosystem in the long term.

Only by concretizing 'trust' into actions and incentives can the network truly achieve autonomy.

Therefore, in the design of Linea, trust is not assumed, but produced.

Stakers produce economic trust, governors produce social trust, and developers produce technical trust.

The entire system functions like a self-correcting machine, continuously strengthening internal order over time.

This may be the next stage of decentralization:

It is not without a center, but rather multiple centers coexisting and dynamically balanced.

Linea is proving through mechanisms that trust is not an abstract consensus, but a structure that is continuously verified.
