How much is a dollar worth? 💵
XRP holders keep asking: When will I really become a millionaire?
And the usual pessimistic responses sound like this: "it won't take off anymore..."
Depression arises in holders because both visions are incorrect.
To begin with, XRP had a takeoff that was its jump from 50 cents to over 3. And it is possible that there will be more jumps until it reaches double-digit values. But that won't be enough to enrich anyone.
And I bring bad news: XRP will not make you a millionaire.
It is not, nor does it want to be, BTC, ETH, or SOL.
I will start by saying that I hold XRP and that I have bought part of it above the current value. And I do not plan to sell even if it goes down. And not because I am a fanatic or an idiot, it's because I understand that XRP is not, and will not be, a speculative crypto asset.
And I go to the title and ask you: How much is a dollar worth? 🫵
Any good answer will include the need to compare it with some other asset.
But the dollar has separated from assets. In 1965 it definitively eliminated silver (a process that had begun in 1873) and in 1971 it left the gold standard, abandoning the Bretton Woods agreements.
And the dollar is no longer tied to anything but itself.
Becoming essential, mainly, for tax payments in the USA and the purchase of crude oil barrels globally.
Enough to become the blood in international finance SWIFT and the global currency.
Today, the debt crisis in the United States is well known to everyone.
Without going into technical details, it is likely to think that the next bubble to burst will be the dollar itself.
And sooner or later, the dollar will stop being the currency of global trade. And, I believe, that place will be occupied (as the main asset) by XRP.
Also XLM, HBAR, and ALGO for certain smaller transactions.
It is simply for that reason that I will continue to hold it. And that is why XRP will remain standing.
I invite you to inform yourselves about the recent Swell 2025.
