Ztarknet — a return to the roots of ZK

In recent weeks, everyone has been talking about #Zcash and #StarkNet.

But most see only the 'narrative'.

And behind it stands real architectural logic that has been formed over the years.

Let me explain simply:

1) Zcash has always been about privacy

Zcash is not a 'meme coin with anonymity', but a blockchain created by cryptographers from MIT, Technion, Berkeley.

Its model is privacy at the protocol level, without additional layers and workarounds.

This is L1 that does not try to be everything at once.

2) StarkNet is scaling through mathematics

Zcash remains L1 → private, simple, verifiable.

On top of it, L2 is launched → programmable, scalable.

L2 level (Ztarknet):

executes smart contracts

processes transactions in 'batches'

generates STARK proofs

L1 level ($ZEC ):

does not execute anything

only verifies the mathematical proof

This is important:

L1 is not complicated. And L2 gets privacy by default.

Technical key: TZE (Transparent Zcash Extension)

This is a proposal that allows Zcash to verify STARK proofs directly. Without TZE — Ztarknet is impossible.

With TZE — Zcash becomes the base layer of the private ZK-internet.

Why is this interesting to the market at all?

Privacy will soon again become a scarcity.

Most L2 → either non-private or non-scalable.

ZEC can become a financial layer for private DeFi, not just a 'coin'.

And most importantly:

StarkWare and Zcash have a common origin.

And this is not a narrative — it is a story of teams and cryptography.

Realistic timelines

This is not about tomorrow.

This is 2025–2026, when the market will mature for privacy + scaling.
