Founder of Binance, Changpeng Zhao (CZ), will appear in a television interview with FOX after receiving a presidential pardon from U.S. President Donald Trump. This pardon comes after Zhao was convicted of violating the U.S. Bank Secrecy Act for failing to implement anti-money laundering procedures and was sentenced to four months in prison.
Trump indicated that the decision to grant clemency was motivated by support for innovation and digital currencies in the United States, not because of his personal acquaintance with Zhao.
