Zcash replacing Bitcoin’s cypherpunk values? You seriously believe that? Anyone with half a brain just needs 10 minutes of research on @Zcash Official to see how far it is from Bitcoin. Yes, more governments and institutions are getting exposure to Bitcoin: > ETFs: 7% > Companies: 4.5% > Governments: 3% In total, institutions have 14.5% of the supply. Yet 55%+ of Bitcoin is still held by individuals. Zcash still has an active team that benefits from a large portion of the supply. At least 20% is held by the team or people close to the team. The remaining 80% are with miners. Sounds decentralized right? Plus just 1 mining pool controls 63% of block production, and only a handful of pools control almost all blocks. Personally, I’d much rather have 15% of the supply held by diverse governments, companies, and investment funds… than have 20% held by the team and 50%+ controlled by a single miner. And nothing prevents institutions from buying Zcash today if they wanted to. The FDV is $14B, so institutions would need only $2B to own the same percentage of $ZEC as they do of $BTC . That’s nothing for them, a single investment fund could do it alone. But it would be a terrible idea considering how centralized Zcash actually is.

Great question and important to clarify. We don’t know with certainty which G7 countries will adopt BTC reserves by 2027. What we can observe is the trajectory: 🇯🇵 Japan openly discusses FX interventions and alternative reserve strategies. 🇬🇧 UK regulators are building crypto-friendly frameworks faster than the EU. 🇨🇦 Canada’s pension funds and banks are already exploring BTC exposure (indirect, but telling). 🇺🇸 U.S. states not the federal level yet are accumulating BTC on balance sheets. 🇩🇪 Germany is one of the largest government Bitcoin holders today. The claim isn’t that “5 countries confirmed it.” The claim is that macro pressures (debt, de-dollarization, reserve diversification, demographic collapse) make $BTC reserves increasingly rational and several G7 nations are already moving in that direction quietly. So it’s not prophecy. It’s reading the trajectory before it becomes policy.
