Goldshell XTBOX 580G Unboxing Review: A Compact and Low-Noise SHA-3X New Favorite
In today's server market, high-power and high-noise "big guys" are emerging one after another. However, for miners who pay attention to energy saving, power saving, and a quiet home experience, compact and efficient servers are the favorites. Today, we welcome Goldshell's newly launched XTBOX 580G—a cost-effective server designed for lightweight mining scenarios. Let’s have a look at its real performance with editor Li Yi.
1. Opening 177 Box 7913 Initial 0177 Impression: Compact Body with Strong Industrial Feel
At the moment of unpacking, the design of the Goldshell XTBOX 580G leaves a deep impression. The entire machine adopts a classic compact structure from the Goldshell family, with a solid black metal shell and exquisite craftsmanship.
The dimensions are only 150×198×96mm, and the weight is about 2.43kg, making it easy to place on a desk, cabinet, or home server rack. The packaging is simple yet adequately protective, with the server body securely embedded in foam to avoid bumps during transportation.
From the front, two high-speed fans are neatly arranged, and the layout of the power supply and network port at the back is reasonable, with tidy cable management. The overall feel of the machine is "small yet powerful," unlike traditional servers that are "heavy and rugged."
2. Interface and Appearance Design: Simple and Practical
The back interface area of the Goldshell XTBOX 580G is very clear:
Network port (Ethernet) for connecting to mining pools;
PWR power indicator, SYS system light, and IP button are all present;
Dual-mode connection ports support flexible power supply methods, compatible with 110~240V voltage.
The power interface uses a standard 10A power line, with smooth plug and unplug, compatible with commonly used server power supplies in the market. The fan speed reaches 4500 RPM, controlling noise while ensuring cooling performance, with an official noise level of ≤35dB. In practice, even when running indoors, the wind noise is hardly noticeable.
