From 3000 yuan to 600,000 yuan, I spent a whole year in the cryptocurrency circle.

I didn’t engage in insider trading or gamble on luck; I relied solely on my own trial and error with a method I call “stepping and rolling over,” and managed to climb up.

When I first started, my mind was filled with thoughts of making quick money, and as a result, I lost my principal three times, dreaming of watching the K-line. It wasn't until I lost everything the third time that I completely woke up: in this cryptocurrency world, the worst thing is to be “impatient”; only by staying calm can one turn things around.

My method is very simple, just three things, yet it pulled me out of the pit.

First, I must strictly adhere to the stop-loss rule. I never use “I think” or “it might go up” to judge; I stick to a strict formula: stop-loss point = volatility of the cryptocurrency × 0.7. For example, if ETH fluctuates by 4%, I set a stop-loss order at 84 dollars in advance and never manually withdraw the order to bet on a rebound—I've seen too many people fall for “let’s wait a bit, maybe it will come back.”

Second, don’t fill the position all at once. Even when the market is good, I never exceed 15% of the principal on the first order. Starting with 3000U, I would move 450U each time and then slowly add more in three additional steps. Going all in looks appealing, but once you make a wrong judgment, there’s not even a chance to turn things around.

Third, withdraw the principal as soon as you make a profit. For every 5% profit, I withdraw part of the principal. For example, if I made 150U, I would transfer 100U back to my wallet first, and then continue to roll over the remaining amount. Relying on this little amount of money gradually accumulates; even if I have a few losses later, it won’t hurt the fundamentals.

Previously, when the L2 market was booming, I bought a low market cap coin in advance, invested 1000U with 3x leverage, sold half for profit after a 15% increase, and then used 600U to short to hedge against risk; I ended up with a net profit of 29%.

There are no fancy tricks, just a steady step-by-step approach. The first time I rolled from 3000U to 12,000U in two months; the second time, it took four months to reach 180,000U; and during the bull market surge, I directly reached 600,000U.

In the cryptocurrency world, turning things around is never about luck; it requires a reliable operational method. Those who face liquidation are mostly in a hurry to make quick money; while those who manage to last until the end are simply the ones who mastered review, stop-loss, and principal withdrawal.

Sometimes going slower actually allows you to go faster. Those who can maintain their mindset are the true winners who make money in the end.
