I’ve been tracking @rumour.app on Rumour.app and the sequence repeats: first a rumour drops → early positioning starts → then price wicks without “reason” → then CT picks it up → then media writes an article → then retail acts last. The AI infra rumour from KBW last week played exactly like that — silent accumulation, then a drift up, then narrative explosion. Same for the stablecoin infra case but in reverse — sharp denial, sell-off before any official statement. This is how you convert “noise” into alpha: not by believing rumours, but by mapping who reacts to them first and how price reacts before the headline exists.
