A woman in China has sought revenge in a unique way. She counted 600,000 yuan (around 10 million rupees) in cash with employees of the Louis Vuitton store and left the store two hours later with the money, without buying anything!

The incident took place at the Starlight Place shopping mall in the city of Chongqing. The woman said that the salespeople had ignored and disrespected her previously when she went to the store. They ignored her requests, showed her old products, and displayed an expression of annoyance. Even when she asked for water, no one responded.

Later, she sent a complaint to the Louis Vuitton headquarters, but received no response. Two months later, she went to the store with a well-planned visit. She had a large bag full of cash in her hand.

She and a friend began to choose clothes. She handed the staff a whole bunch of money under the pretense of buying. After the employees finished counting the money for two hours, she suddenly said: “I’m sorry, I don’t want to buy anything else!”

“They finished counting the money, then I took my money and left,” she wrote on the Chinese social media platform Xiaohongshu. “Why should I spend my money to boost their sales?”

The incident quickly went viral, with Chinese social media users calling it the “best revenge of the year.”
