K33 Research: Bitcoin’s Halving Cycle Is Over as Institutions Take Control 🏦

According to K33 Research, #bitcoin ’s traditional four-year halving cycle has ended — replaced by institutional forces and macro policy shifts that now drive price action. The firm’s October outlook claims Bitcoin has entered a new structural regime, led by ETFs, sovereign accumulation, and global policy alignment.

In 2025, Bitcoin hit new all-time highs in both USD and euros, with ETFs and derivatives adding 63,000 BTC ($7.7B) in a week — the strongest institutional inflow of the year. BlackRock now manages over $100B in Bitcoin ETF assets, while Morgan Stanley advises clients to allocate up to 4% of portfolios to crypto.

K33’s Head of Research Vetle Lunde noted that past retail-driven cycles have been replaced by strategic accumulation, citing U.S. policy shifts like President Trump’s Strategic Bitcoin Reserve and upcoming 401(k) crypto access. $BTC
