His team’s goal is to balance blockchain transparency with institutional confidentiality using programmable privacy powered by Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs).

Looking ahead, Ripple aims to launch Confidential Multi-Purpose Tokens (MPTs) — privacy-preserving, tokenized collateral for DeFi and Real-World Assets (RWAs). Akinyele also explores Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) and confidential computing to prevent frontrunning and secure sensitive operations.
