Worldly EDEN is a sham or counterfeit. It's an overpromising catchphrase that inveigles the callow and nescient fortune-hunters. EDEN is a fantasy of many daydreamers that it's replete with exuberant verdure , picturesque landscape Erewhonian or Elysian sybariticism, epicureanism and the like. More often than not even risk-averse chancers or milksops are decoyed and thereby misled by embellishments and blarneys. There are times too when the protagonists are totally imprudent that they fall prey to the acquisitive and sharp-witted manipulators too , who knows.
