🟢$BTCThe dream of $200,000 for 2025 is fading: this is what analysts are saying

The countdown has begun and $BTCThe ambitious target of $200,000 for 2025 is running out of margin. With BTC hovering around $109,000, many analysts are reevaluating their previously bullish outlooks.

👉 CryptoSlate points out that to reach $200,000 from here would require a rally of 83% in less than 100 days, something that is not historically impossible, but is becoming increasingly unlikely without a significant bullish shock.

🔸 Markus Thielen (Matrixport) recently adjusted his models, lowering expectations to around $120,000–$145,000 by the end of the year.

🔸 Analysts at Standard Chartered also echoed caution, suggesting that $200,000 could be a "long-term cycle target," not a reality for 2025.

🔸 Meanwhile, Mike McGlone of Bloomberg warned that the Fed's tightening policy and adverse macroeconomic winds are keeping risk assets under pressure.

At the same time, Bitcoin's fear and greed index has shifted to "Fear," reflecting a cooling sentiment after a volatile summer.

Still, history reminds us: Bitcoin can surprise. Massive capital inflows into spot ETFs, the adoption of sovereign bonds, or a sudden macroeconomic shift could reignite optimism. But for now, analysts agree that realistic expectations for 2025 could be well below $200,000.
