I have been following the modular blockchain and interoperability track recently and found a project that is quite interesting, which is @openledger.
In simple terms, what OpenLedger wants to create is not a single chain, but a sovereign interoperability layer based on Cosmos. You can think of it as a top-level 'protocol translator' and 'highway system'. In the current multi-chain landscape, each chain is like an island, making it difficult for assets and data to flow freely. The goal of OpenLedger is to use its OMNIA protocol to safely bridge these 'islands', allowing information and value to be transmitted seamlessly.
It's not just as simple as a cross-chain bridge; it concerns sovereignty—project teams can easily customize their own chains while securely connecting to the entire crypto universe. This is crucial for large-scale applications in the future!
I personally look forward to seeing more ecological projects built on OpenLedger, truly breaking down the barriers between chains. Do you think interoperability will be the next breakout point?
