Whenever an announcement is made that so-and-so has departed from this world, we all utter with our tongues إِنَّا لِلّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ. But in that moment, pause for a second and surely think that such a day will also come for me, and then I too will be laid in the grave empty-handed with my deeds, where there will be neither companion nor excuse, but I will have to answer for every action.
Then there will be no concern about what eats away at us day and night today: envy, hatred, the race of the world, desires, wishes, dreams—all will turn to dust. Only my deeds will remain, for which I must account one by one. For God's sake, now awaken; the world will come to an end, but what will remain is the wealth of the hereafter!!
Refine your deeds.
Worry about your hereafter.
For the real life is that one.
