The BNB Treasury Company aims to bring institutional BNB exposure to U.S. markets through a public stock exchange listing.
Backed by 10X Capital and led by top Wall Street veterans, the BNB Treasury Company will focus exclusively on BNB Chain assets.
YZi Labs and 10X Capital are combining blockchain innovation and capital market expertise to expand BNB access in the U.S.
The BNB ecosystem is set to make major inroads into the U.S. investment market. On July 9, YZi Labs revealed its support for 10X Capital in launching The BNB Treasury Company. The firm will focus entirely on BNB, the fourth-largest digital asset by market cap. It also plans to list on a major U.S. stock exchange, opening direct exposure for institutional and retail investors.
Former Galaxy Digital co-founder David Namdar will lead the initiative as CEO. The core goal is to connect U.S. capital markets with BNB Chain’s decentralized growth. 10X Capital, known for backing Nakamoto (Nasdaq: NAKA), is structuring this as a pure-play BNB asset management vehicle. This move could significantly reshape how U.S. investors access blockchain ecosystems.
Wall Street Expertise Meets BNB Innovation
Besides Namdar, the leadership team includes industry veterans. Russell Read, former CIO of CalPERS and the Alaska Permanent Fund, joins as CIO. Also on board is Saad Naja, ex-director at Kraken and current executive at Exinity.
10X Capital will serve as asset manager while working with Cohen & Company and Clear Street LLC to fund BNB acquisitions. These partnerships aim to anchor the company’s financial base before its public listing.
Additionally, YZi Labs emphasized that it only supports select ventures. Ella Zhang, Head of YZi Labs, praised BNB Chain as a scalable platform. She noted that 10X brings strong capital markets experience to the table.
Building Institutional Confidence in BNB
Hans Thomas, CEO of 10X Capital, stressed the lack of institutional exposure to BNB in the U.S. However, he believes now is the right time. He explained that U.S.-listed treasury companies could be a powerful entry point for investors.
Moreover, the company plans full transparency in its BNB holdings and aims for deep community engagement. The closing of its initial financing round is expected within weeks.
