CZ says “trust but verify” on TON’s golden visa claim
If official, BNB holders could benefit too

CZ Cautious on TON UAE Golden Visa Claim
Changpeng “CZ” Zhao, the founder of Binance, has weighed in on the recent buzz around a new UAE Golden Visa offer linked to crypto. The TON Foundation has announced a program where users can stake $100,000 worth of TON tokens and pay a $35,000 fee to become eligible for a 10-year UAE Golden Visa. However, CZ made it clear that the information hasn’t been verified through any official UAE government channels. He encouraged the crypto community to “trust but verify” before taking action.
The crypto space has seen a surge in real-world applications lately, but CZ’s cautious stance reminds users to look for government confirmation before committing large amounts of capital.
Could BNB Be Next?
CZ didn’t stop at commenting—he hinted that if the TON program turns out to be legitimate, Binance might push for a similar initiative using BNB. That would open the door for BNB holders to potentially gain long-term UAE residency through staking, adding another layer of utility to Binance’s native token.
This move, if it materializes, could mark a new chapter in crypto adoption by aligning digital assets with real-world residency programs. But, for now, it’s still a “wait and see” situation.

What Makes the TON Visa Offer Unique?
The TON visa initiative claims to be simpler and more cost-effective than traditional investment paths to UAE residency. Instead of investing over $500,000 in real estate or business, participants stake $100,000 in TON tokens for three years. During that time, the staked tokens can remain in users’ wallets and potentially earn 3–4% interest annually.
The application reportedly covers family members and takes less than seven weeks to process. Despite the excitement, there’s skepticism. Experts point out that visa approvals usually require official auditing, government partnerships, and legal oversight—none of which have been confirmed for this program.
Final Take
The idea of earning a UAE Golden Visa by staking crypto is innovative and appealing, especially to global crypto investors. While CZ’s interest in bringing BNB into a similar framework is encouraging, the community should remain cautious until an official government endorsement is in place.
