According to PANews, on July 15, the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) issued a circular to enhance measures for visiting professionals conducting regulated activities or providing virtual asset services in Hong Kong. The circular states that currently, mobile professionals are allowed to engage in regulated activities or offer virtual asset services in Hong Kong for up to 30 days per calendar year. This comes with a condition attached to their license regarding this duration. To facilitate visiting professionals and provide them with greater flexibility, the SFC has now extended this period to 45 days per calendar year.
